Welcome!

Welcome!

I'm a musician, artist, writer, composer, arranger, & producer — but underneath all, a son who walks with his Father.

I'm a musician, artist, writer, composer, arranger, & producer — but underneath all, a son who walks with his Father.

My name is Jacob Asmussen, and I'm a lifelong Texan - born in the mountainous desert of El Paso and raised in the beautiful hill country capital city of Austin. I love barbeque and football and somehow am still a Dallas Cowboys fan after all these years. Yes, it still hurts.

Ever since I was a young child, I loved music. I began playing piano at an early age and delighted in it, and could easily spend hours playing and creating. I also took up violin, and started playing everything from Jazz, classical, old hymns, blues, country, musicals, and symphonies, and everywhere from concert halls, cathedrals, competitions, ballrooms, weddings, churches, and jazz clubs. (thanks mom & dad for all the support - at least you never had to tell me to practice)

As I grew, I began to see a need for a renaissance in our society today. Our creative arts had largely become industrialized factories churning out cheap, hollow, formulaic products missing the most important piece: the Source of Life, Jesus. He is the Creator and One True Living God, who Himself is the life and glory and beauty in the universe.

So I began this studio.

The Spirit of the Living God — the same Presence who created all things at the beginning of time and has done wonders throughout all history — now lives within me here and now, so my goal is simple: follow Him. I desire to walk where He walks, listen to what He's saying right now, and express that into our land today.

Which, ultimately, is much more than nice music or beautiful artwork, but an awakening to return to the Source: His Presence.

More than a renaissance — a revival.

So I welcome you.

Come and see.

My name is Jacob Asmussen, and I'm a lifelong Texan - born in the mountainous desert of El Paso and raised in the beautiful hill country capital city of Austin. I love barbeque and football and somehow got brainwashed as a kid into being a Dallas Cowboys fan. Yes, it still hurts.

Ever since I was a young child, I loved music. I began playing piano at an early age and delighted in it, and could easily spend hours playing and creating (thanks mom and dad for all the support - at least you never had to tell me to practice!)

As I grew, I began to see a need for a renaissance in our society today. Our creative arts had become distorted, industrialized factories churning out hollow, formulaic, and mass-produced products missing the most important piece: the Source of Life, Jesus. He is the Creator and One True Living God, who Himself is the life and glory and beauty in the universe.

So I began this studio - not only as a renaissance, but a revival.

An awakening to return to the Source: His Presence.

The Spirit of the Living God, the same Presence who created all things at the beginning of time and has done wonders throughout all history, now lives within me here and now, so I simply want to follow Him — walk where He walks, dwell where He dwells, listen to what He's saying right now, and express the sounds of Heaven into our land today.

So I welcome you - come and see.

— with all my heart,

"My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

"My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

"My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
